The 3rd Omis Guitar Festival is upon us. Following the success of two previous events, the organisers are promising that this year’s festival will be bigger and better. They even secured the patronage of none other but the president of Croatia, Mr Ivo Josipovic.

Although designed as a guitar competition, this year’s fest will include staged performances, guitar workshops, gear exhibition and lectures on relevant subjects like marketing, copyright issues etc.
The Live4guitar team would like to join the organizers in extending an invitation to everyone who wishes to demonstrate their guitar skill, meet fellow guitarists, or simply come along to enjoy good music and hospitality of this beautiful town.
Omis is a jewel of the Croatian coast, situated only half an hours drive from the region’s capital Split, a historic city dating back from Roman times.
The Live4guitar crew had such a good time last year that we can recommend it full heartedly. Besides masterclasses, concerts etc..., we enjoyed the greatest food and unforgettable jam session on the boat sailing around Dalmatian islands all night.
