Want to submit an article to Live4guitar?

This site is run as a cooperative so everyone is invited to contribute. However it is in everyone’s interest to maintain high quality of published material. Therefore we shall only accept articles that meet the site’s standards of writing and content. Please note that if we gain evidence in this time that the article or source images used in the article have been plagiarized we will take the article off the site.

What to write?

We are looking for extensive articles on these subjects:

  • Gear reviews
  • Articles on established and upcoming artists
  • Tips and tricks
  • Theory lessons
  • Guitar lessons
  • News and trivia

You must also fulfill the following criteria:

  • Send in your brief idea for the article with a couple of paragraphs for consideration. Please note not every article will be accepted.
  • Your article must be your original work and not published elsewhere.
  • Your article may be edited prior to publishing if the article is accepted.
  • You appoint L4g to be the exclusive publisher of the article online. You are welcome to republish extracts online (for example on your own site). However the article in its entirety should not appear elsewhere. You may also republish the article offline in any way you wish e.g. sell it to a magazine, submit it to a book.
  • Pictures must be sent separately (do not put them in Word document) in JPG format and 680px minimum width.
  • If you wish to submit a video you must use 25fps minimum and a decent quality recording. Video should be 640px in width. Both 4:3 and 16:9 formats are accepted. You can use MP4 or Flash video formats. You agree that we may put the L4g logo on your video if we decide so.
